The Seven-Day Sovereign
You have just 168 hours to save a broken kingdom before darkness takes over. The treasury is empty, and the borders are under attack. What will people remember about you next week?
Begins with: Day One
In the Kingdom of Oakhaven, the crown is not inherited but cursed.
Whoever wears it receives absolute power for seven days before disappearing. No one knows where. Many believe it's the only way to heaven. Each year, 52 recruits are ordained into the Kingmaker sect and trained in all things regal. To be king for a week is a great honour.
But absolute power corrupts absolutely. The curse has an inherent darkness that infultraits the mind of whoever wears it. The Kingmaker sect knows this, but keeps it hidden from the populace. Their recruits may believe they're getting the VIP treatment before ascending, but they're just pawns for the real power in the land.
But not today.
The story opens on your first day as king, an ordinary citizen in the wrong place at the wrong time, and now you are cursed.
